#BioTechStory: Marina Seckali

Thank you to Marina Seckali (@marinaseckali) from Toronto, ON, for participating in the June #BioTechStory.
How long have you been working in this beauty industry?
I have been working in this industry since I completed my courses with Bio Sculpture about 9 months ago.
What led you to begin offering Bio Sculpture?
I began offering Bio Sculpture simply because they are the best. I wanted to offer my clients something I would love for myself. The fact that it is a true gel, that doesn’t chip and was 10-free was what really drew me to this brand. Being a natural nail artist, I wanted what was best for the health of my client's nails and Bio Sculpture offered that.
How has using Bio Sculpture changed your business?
Bio Sculpture has changed my business in so many ways. It allows me to cater to my client's nail goals individually because of their amazing Ethos line; it gives my clients a manicure that last 4 plus weeks. My clients nails have never been healthier.
What is your favourite Bio Sculpture Product?
My favorite Bio Sculpture Product is Evo Gloss Top coat. I couldn’t complete a manicure without it and could never replace it. It gives the perfect shine that I could wear on color or even alone and what makes it even better is that when I exfoliate my clients hands the top coat will never scratch. I couldn’t do anything without it!
What is your favourite Bio Sculpture Colour?
This is a tough question because there are so many beautiful shades but if I had to choose one Bio Sculpture Colour it would be #87 Strawberry French. I love a sheer manicure myself and this shade is just the most gorgeous sheer with a little pink tint to it. I love it!
If you could be granted one Bio Sculpture Wish, what would it be?
If I could be granted one Bio Sculpture wish it would be to create a gorgeous new set of nudes. Nudes will always have my heart.
What are your goals for the next year for your nail career?
My goals for the next year in my nail career are to hopefully start working on set. I would love to get my foot in the door to do some editorial work and then I guess see what that blossoms into for me.
What styles do you project will be popular for nails in the next year?
I think milky shades and sheers with a pop of colour will be popular in the next year. What Bio Sculpture product could you NOT live without? Evo Gloss Top Coat, I couldn’t do my job without it.
What advice do you have for other technicians starting their nail career?
I would tell new nail artist starting out to not be afraid to ask questions, especially in this Bio Sculpture community. The stylists are so amazing and are so willing to help and answer any questions. I have never seen another community like it and I am so proud to be a part of this group of women.
